We arrived safely in Beijing - no flight delays and only moderate child complaints on the 2 flights. Wednesday we ventured out to eat dumplings for dinner and then went to sleep. The Wang Fu Jing Grand hotel is good but has the usual rock hard China beds and as usual in China, the A/C has been turned off. No pictures yet, but we will get plenty today.
It is now Thusday morning. We just ate breakfast. We discovered April LOVES Red Bean Dim Sum, which somehow placed higher on the scale then the drinkable yogurts.
We are about to head out to the Badaling (sp?) section of the Great Wall. Then we will tour the Summer Palace - both favorites of ours from our trip in 2009. It will be at least in the 50s today and we packed for much colder weather. A good problem to have except for the extra clothes we carried.
There's something better than yogurt?! Shocking!
