This morning when the kids came downstairs for breakfast, Carter jumped up and followed them to the table. I could eat! Never one to miss a meal, Carter joined them in Cheerios and his new favorite drink - milk. After taking the kids to the bus, Carter had 2nd breakfast (he is a bit of a Hobbit in meal frequency). Carter tried oatmeal for the first time and enjoyed it.
Last night Carter wandered into the kitchen while Lisa was making dinner and tried cucumbers and tomatoes. It was like we were feeding him candy. He could not get enough.
This morning Carter was woken up by a big slurp from Murphy, our 80 pound dog. Carter woke up, but was not upset. So far Carter seems basically unperturbed by the dog or the cat, which is a huge improvement over the initial screaming April & Bennett did on meeting the four legged ones.
Off to change a stinky diaper.
