Day 5 - Nanjing - Gotcha Day - Bedtime

  1. Congratulations! So excited to see pictures of April and hear about your Gotcha Day! It sounds like it is going very well. How brave for her to be so willing to try the bath and new foods. It sounds like she is doing so good!

I'm also very pleased to hear about Bennett's transition to life with a sibling. I'm so glad that he has been so comforting to April. I think his presence will really help with April's transition. Having a buddy similar in age is comforting!

Thanks for sharing so much in your posts! I am always so excited to see the new ones!

    Blessings,

  5. Just read through your last few posts with tears streaming down my face. Thank you so much for sharing. I don't think we can imagine what these children go through during this transition in their lives. It must be so confusting for them. Know that we are thinking of you and look forward to your visit to XZ.

  6. It's so wonderful to see the two children together after seeing their pictures separately on your blog for so long. So glad to hear that she is adjusting so well. I am also sending you lots of support and good wishes. Sarah (Mom to Xu YaTing from Xuzhou in 2006)
